This was a difficult weekend. Still getting adjusted to Philly and being on my own. I'm taking a break from my relationship and it seems like things will only get more difficult, or maybe at least until they get better. To try to relieve some of my stress I walked the neighborhood and got some errands done. In the afternoon, I met my friend Lauren at a little boutique by her apartment. I had seen this table from the road two days ago and decided to go back to take a look. Some might call this retail therapy...I haven't found too many pieces that I have liked enough for a coffee table but this caught my eye. If I would have held out for a few more months I'm sure I could have found the "perfect table" with a bigger price tag but I'm impulsive and won't wait that long. So I got this table for $125 and home it came to fill the empty spot in front of the new sofa. It is somewhat unique and I'm happy with it. Its on wheels so it can be pushed out of the way when it feels better to lie down and watch a movie. There is a comfy bottom shelf to put your feet and plenty of space to pile books and drinks. What do you think?
