This was also the first Monday that I've had off in a long time. I've gone from working six days a week to five (I should probably mention that from June-Oct I was working four days a week). I'm also finally able to sleep in my home every night now, after spending a year in other places. My apartment feels cozy and now it will hopefully feel like home since I can stop all this back and forth. This probably doesn't seem very exciting to anyone else, but I'm looking forward to buying groceries whenever I want and fresh flowers on whatever day I please. I dropped one of my office days giving me the day off on Mondays, at least for the foreseeable future.
Since it was the day after Easter, I was happy to come back home from a weekend with my family to relax in my city apartment all by myself. (Pictures of Easter are coming soon, I left my camera there!) I ventured out this afternoon to run a few errands and get some exercise. I ended up walking about fifteen blocks further than I had planned to buy a dress for little sis's birthday in May. Needless to say I was a dehydrated mess when I returned. Either way, it was a beautiful walk, the city was busy and filled with excitement about the warm weather. Here are some shots from my stroll through town:
