I am in the mood for fall and decorating is my favorite thing to do! I am finding it difficult to wait until September 23 to break out the pumpkins and bittersweet, so slowly but surely I'm welcoming Autumn into Philly. Photography in magazines like Country Living and Autumn Cottage always get me in the mood, so I thought I would share some beautiful ideas with you.
I cannot wait to browse the pumpkin and gourds display but will wait until October 1 because it's not quite a fall experience if its 85 degrees! Even though Pumpkinland opens at Linvilla Orchards on September 10!
I am not a big fan of Martha Stewart herself but do love her taste (from recipes to pet supplies). Little Sis and I grew up watching her TV show, we found her pretty boring but were fascinated by what she was making, even at ten years old. I found a step by step guide to making a bittersweet wreath. Check it out if you're feeling crafty.
And if you have more outdoor space than I do, you might be able to copy some of these garden ideas.
On the agenda today:
Test out a new pumpkin cheesecake recipe
Get a manicure with one of these fall colors

this is the decorating inspiration I needed! love decorating for fall - and I could DEFINITELY use a manicure...
I was just dreaming about a burnt orange nail polish color! I was convinced I came up w/ it myself. Obviously not. I so love this post and the Back to School post. I officially in the mood for fall! Good work, big sis. I wish I could deck out Miguel's apartment, but I think I'll have to settle for "my room", though I don't know where all my decorations are! Anyway, can't wait until this weekend! <3
I'm glad this post put you both in the mood for fall!
That wreath is beautiful! I can't wait to go to Linvilla Orchards too! I've never been - I'm not sure who will enjoy it more, me or the little one!
