I love Philly in the fall

Where did you go October? I can't believe its already our last day together....Just before we say goodbye, I want to take a minute to reminisce about our good times. After spending my first October in the city, I  decided on what I love about Philly in the fall. Everyday Riley and I walk together, for obvious reasons, but for the past thirty days it has been more enjoyable than usual. The weather tells us to bundle up, trees are changing color, leaves are blowing through the air, pumpkins and mums decorate doorsteps, and today trick-o-treaters filled the sidewalks. Even though it was in the burbs where there are tons of trees and pumpkins to enjoy, I would only enjoy fall through the windows of my car or home. But since my main source of transportation are my feet now, I am right in the middle of the season! I would like you to savor the sights as well, so here are some images of our walks around town...

Well I can't end my blog about October without talking about the spooky holiday that lies within it. How did I spend my Halloween you ask? Well, I transformed into a purple crayon and went out with the girls! For the second year in a row I went out with little sis and her friend Z (my friend too). In an earlier post I told you about our night in NYC last year. We decided to continue with our tradition and bring it to a new city...Philly! We ordered our costumes, decided to go to G-lounge, and then patiently waited for October 30 to roll around. The night started with some dinner at my place and then what was probably a three hour process to get dressed. Keep in mind most of this time was spent catching up, laughing, taking pics, dancing, and sipping some sparkly :) Love it! Can't wait til next year girls!

What I'm looking forward to now...
Happy Halloween!
