Fourth of July Love

Some of you already know but the fourth of July is a special day for me. First, it is hubby-to-be's birthday! I think it is so cool that he is a fourth of July baby. As much as I love holidays, its double the fun to have a holiday themed birthday! And second, we have chosen our wedding date to be July 4, 2013! We fell in love with our wedding site soon after we were engaged but with a booked calendar and our tight guest list, we were limited on our choices. After some deliberation hubby-to-be graciously agreed to share his birthday with our anniversary. I've heard it called "Birthaversary" so I guess its not that uncommon!
Getting back to this fourth of July, it was hubby-to-be's 32nd and we decided it would be a good time for our families to meet. So the day we arrived back from Mexico, we threw together a birthday/4th of July/families meeting party and hoped it went well. We also thought it would be a great time to celebrate all of this, being just a year away from the event! Afterwards we headed to Audubon, where we are getting married to show them the grounds.

Now since I am usually a private person I thought I would surprise hubby-to-be with the very last part of his birthday present on my blog.

Even though yesterday was your last birthday that would be all about you, you were so understanding when it really wasn't all about you. This is just one of the reasons why I love you...
