Our Last Day in Minneapolis

Welcome to Mall of America (MOA)! We made a quick stop here on the way back to MSP from the wedding. I'm sorry but sixty minutes just wasn't enough for me. The next time I'm in heaven I'm taking at least three hours. Much to my surprise there was no Anthropologie in MOA, but I still gave them a chance.

My view from the third floor
Who knew a women's fitting room could be a self-esteem booster?
Aside from having some of the best retail stores and restaurants, MOA also has an aquarium and an indoor amusement park with over 25 rides. Feel like getting some exercise? If you walk the entire perimeter of each floor its almost 2 miles. Want to get married? Head to the Chapel of Love along with 5,500 other couples. It would take you 86 hours to shop if you spent just ten minutes in each store. And the best unknown fact? There is NO sales tax on clothing in Minnesota!

After leaving the mall we drove back to the city to check into our hotel. We were all lucky enough to score reasonably priced rooms at the W. They apparently have their own language, capitalizing as many 'W' words as they can. Hey, I say a place as glorious as this can call themselves Whatever the heck they Want. We loved everything right down to the lift (elevator) mats that greeted us every morning, afternoon, and evening. I was so Wowed that I didn't get many of my own pictures, so please enjoy the Wonderful photos they have on their website. And yes, I did steal the Bliss products in our bath, shhhhh.
Bf and I shared some deliciously pricey pre-dinner drinks in "The Living Room" bar
Bf and I walked to our fabulous dinner for Minneapolis' restaurant week and then rolled ourselves back home. We were so excited about our hotel that nothing sounded better than relaxing together in luxury. This turned out to be a great idea because as soon as we got inside, the sky opened up and we enjoyed an enormous storm from our skyline windows. A Wondrous way to say good night to Minneapolis.

So fun to re-live it. Love the "W" words! I didn't even notice those special words. I guess I'll have to go back! ;)
