DIY Advent Calendar

Ok, I realize this is a wee bit early but I came across these ideas and had to share them! Every year on December 1st my sisters and I were always so excited to bring out the advent calendar. There were different goodies inside every year which always made for a fun surprise before school. Now that I'm no longer celebrating the days leading up to Christmas in my parent's home, I need to find my own advent calendar. I've been on a search for the perfect one...here are some sweet ideas that are both cheap and easy to make! Which one would you choose?

String together baby Christmas socks to stuff full of goodies
This is a Pottery Barn calendar but I think it could be whipped up pretty easily
This one is made of cards or photos with activity ideas written inside. If you are a couple (without kiddies) you could also take turns writing holiday messages to each other inside.
This calendar seems simple enough using just craft paper and poster board. Again it has cute activities inside.
Talk about cute and easy!
And this version is my personal favorite:
It seems like the perfect idea for city living. You purchase 24 magnetic tins and decorate as you please. Then you stick them to your fridge for easy access and holiday decoration! Of course you can stuff presents or notes inside of these babies!
