Life is Changing

Well, here we are again. I apologize for being so absent, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have any readers left after my hiatus! It's been so long that Blogger has a new layout that is totally unfamiliar . Life has been changing left and right and I've been extremely unmotivated to blog about all these happenings. Changes are not only in my personal life but I've been building my business and moving around offices now for about a month. So needless to say, this takes precedence over blogging. But now that life seems a little more stable, I am ready to rejoin the blogging world, where I gained so much happiness.
I also have some news since January (hard to believe, huh?), Bf is no longer "Bf". He is now hubby-to-be!! He popped the question at the end of April, suprising me on a beautiful night out in the city. He had the most perfect ring made and now the wedding planning is on!
Cheers to my new ring...oh, and our life together <3
Then to make all this commitment stuff official, hubby-to-be and I moved in together last week. Well, I moved in with him but it is slowly but surely becoming our home. I had been going full force with renovating since September, so I've taken a break for a little while to push myself to live with what we have. This is one of my weaknesses, when something needs to be done, I prefer to do it right away, even if I really don't have the time. Hubby-to-be has helped me grow in this way...pictures have been sitting unhung in our house for over a week, which is about 10 days more than I would have waited in the past! Some might call this p a t i e n c e.

As for this blogging thing, you might have already guessed that I am no longer a lone girl searching for happiness in a new city. Blogging about my adventures (and of course meeting hubby-to-be, among other things) has filled me up with so much joy. I think a combination of writing creatively and truely enjoying my experiences through photography and mental notes of how to describe it in the blog, helped me savor every moment. My Philadelphia story really isn't complete without this blog.

Since this girl is changing, so is this blog. It is my prediction that for a year I will be writing about wedding plannng, home shopping and other nesting tidbits, and babies (although I can't confirm the order). I promise to always keep the underpinnings of decorating, fashion, finding beauty in the small things, and of course my experiences both in (& out) of the city. I hope you are all along for the ride, and if not, I understand that you may change as well :)
